Sorry i havent spoken to you about this yet BB, but here goes: 1. Download teamspeak here:

Whichever one goes with your computer, if its windows, dl the one for windows, and for linux and so on. But only dl the client, dont do the one that says (update binary)
2. Two things you need:
Microphone-Speaking
Headset
You need a headset or else when people speak to you, theres an echo in the background, you can hear it through other peopes computers too. So they hear your voice echo through twice, trust me its annoying, headset is a must for ts.
3. Open teamspeak up, its a big blue window. Then goto Connection, then Quick Connect, then enter a teamspeak ip, servers usually have their ts ip listed, but id recommend using:
8.9.4.38:8820
Leave the other fields blank for now, you should be connected.
