Once you are in the server browser, you can click on the "Players" bar to sort the servers by full to empty, or vise-versa.
This is good to find popular full servers in the game. 
After you click the Players bar, this will how the server list will view like. You can see how it shows the servers from full to empty like said above.

Another way is to join by IP. One of the ways to join by IP is by...
1. Clicking the "Favorites" tab
2. Then RIGHT click on the players tab
3. Next click on Open IP word.
4. A new box will pop asking you to place the server's ip. An example would be: "293.493.934.920:1716" You HAVE to have the :1716 part otherwise it may not work.
