This section will be dedicated to helping members/friends who don't know how to post a screen shot/image from anywhere on our Forums.

Believe it or not America's Army does have a screen shot button. By default it is F8 on your function keys. You just press it and the screen should freeze for a little bit and take a picture of the current screen. This will be saved in your C:/Program Files/America's Army/Screen Shots folder.

If you have bound something over these keys or want to bind the screen shot button to another key, open your console, type "bind shot" without the carrots and quotations; this should then make you a screen shot button.

How to Post:

First: you will need a photo storing account with something like PhotoBucket or ImageShack in order to actually post on the forums. just make an account with them and log in and follow the instructions.

Second: Open the screen shot folder in America's army and find the screen you want

Third: right click on the image and select "open with," i suggest opening it with Paint or Adobe, and the image will be opened in the program.

Fourth: click on file, SAVE AS, and in the drop down menu on the window, click a JPEG, .JPEG. This will save the image as a low resolution image so it won't be super huge on the forums.

Fifth: log into Your photo account wherever you made it, select upload, and find the file on your computer. this will upload the image to your photo account. Next, click on the image and there will be a box somewhere on the page, at least with photo bucket, that has all the pre-made IMG and URL and HTML links for the image. find the one that has [URL] in it and copy and paste it into a forum reply and that will link to the picture on your account.

Post with any Questions.

-Serenity
